How It Works

MAKING THE PAPER LOG CASE

1. Remove the inner plunger

Fig 1

2. Lay an open sheet of newspaper on a table close to the edge.        For large papers, fold once.

Fig 2

3. Place outer tube on to paper with flange overhanging the table and align long edge of paper           with the arrows.

Fig 3

4. Loosely roll paper around the tube.

5. Tuck the loose end of the paper well into the tube.

Fig 4

6. Stand tube upright on a firm, flat surface            (flange uppermost) and compress the tucked         in paper with the plunger.

INSERTING THE WASTE

Fig 5
Fig 6

7. Remove plunger and insert a small amount of           waste. Replace plunger and compress waste.

8. Repeat insertion of waste and compressing         until disk level is visible when compressed -        first disk for short logs and second disk for          long logs.

Note: Do not overfill beyond second disk level.

EJECTING THE LOG

9. Whilst gripping the flanged end of the outer tube, slowly push the          plunger to eject the paper casing and the contents.

WASTE COLLECTION TIPS

Separate household waste into burnable waste and store separately.
Ensure materials are reduced in size to allow easy insertion into Logmaker.
Whole pages of newspaper can be inserted.
For best burning results mix different materials when making your logs.
Waste can be dampened to increase packed density but avoid overwetting.

DO NOT BURN: Plastics, rubber, plastic-coated cardboard (milk cartons, etc), pressure coated/treated wood (fence posts) or glossy paper.

Logmaker logs can be burnt on any open fires, log-burning stoves, kitchen ranges, Chimineas, barbecues and camp fires.
